Travis Patrick Sieckert

Of Waupaca, age 26, left us too soon on Saturday, November 11, 2017.  Travis was born June 8, 1991 in Appleton. He was a millwright for Miron. Travis enjoyed his job, hanging out with friends and family, riding four wheeler, duck hunting, fishing, playing Frisbee golf, shooting pool, watching SpongeBob and especially spending time with his nephew, Brogan. He liked music and his blue tooth speaker was like his tail.  He liked to make people laugh and had an infectious smile with an unforgettable laugh. He was an old soul who loved his brother and followed in his footsteps.  Travis enjoyed traveling and took many beautiful pictures.

Travis will be sadly missed by his mother: Missy Velte (boyfriend Mick Ertl);father: Patrick Sieckert (fiancée, Marcie Terres); stepfather: Aaron Norton; brother: Nick Sieckert (girlfriend Dacia Goetsch) and sister: Pam Sieckert; nephew: Brogan Sieckert; special friend: Nyela Ysquierdo and the girls: Neveen and Nyzenia; Travis’ mom’s side, grandma: Louise Velte;  uncles: George and Keith Velte; aunt: Hope (Rick) Swartwout; Travis’ Dad’s side: grandma: Joanne Kent; aunt: Lori (Laurie) Sieckert ; uncles: Mel (Shellie), Joe and Greg Sieckert, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Travis is preceded in death by grandparents, Mel Sieckert, Bob Kent and Lewis Velte; Uncle Roach and good friends, Nick and Brandon Firkus and Ryan Lick.

The Memorial Service will be on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 1 p.m.at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca.  Friends and family may gather on Friday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established. “Merica”
