Russell J. Freese

            Russell J. Freese, age 81, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI.  He was born in Milwaukee on October 3, 1936 to Douglas and Elenore (Gust) Freese.  He served with the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955.  Survivors include a daughter, Mechelle Halverson; grandchildren: Sabrina, Justin and William; great-grandchildren: Kanyan and Erin; ex-wife, Madria; a brother, Raymond; and two sisters, Barbara and Linda.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard.  Per Russell’s wishes, he will be cremated and no service will be held.
