Ronald “Ron” W. Vallery, Sr.

               Age 55, of Waupaca, passed away suddenly, of natural causes, on Thursday, May 7, 2015.  He was born in Burlington, WI on August 19, 1959, one of ten sons to Joseph and Evelyn (Clark) Vallery, Sr.  He was a proud Marine who served his country from 1977 to 1984.  On May 24, 1997, he was united in marriage to Michele Durrett.

               Ron will be sadly missed by his wife, Michele; children: Shannon Vallery and her son Brody Klepps, of Waupaca; Ronald Vallery, Jr. (Amanda Rodello) and their dogs, of Amherst; Taylor Dawson of Arizona; and John (Sara) Moore of North Carolina.  He is also survived by his brothers: Jim (Tina), Joe (Rosie), Dave (Barb), Bob (Tammy), Tom (Marilyn) and Tim (Dawn); father-in-law, Stan (Margaret) Durrett; mother-in-law, Kathy (Carl) Long; and his other “children” (his dogs): RC, Cruiser and Samantha.  Ron was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: John, Chuck and Glen.

               The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 11 AM at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca, with Rev. Dr. Charles Tews officiating.  Visitation will be held Monday night from 4 until 7 PM and again Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Burial and full military honors will take place at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
