Megan A. (Harder) Darvin

Megan A. Darvin, age 36, of Waupaca, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday, December 6, 2016.  She was born in Waupaca on May 5, 1980 to Rodney Harder and Jodi (Meilinger) Buttles.  Megan worked as a dialysis technician for DaVita Dialysis, and as a sales associate at Sears.

She was the loving mother to her three girls: Kalyna Harder, Ashlynn Schneider, and Jocelyn Darvin; will be dearly missed by her parents: Jodi (Kent) Buttles and Rodney Harder; siblings: Samantha Passehl (Nick Myers), Derek Harder, Chelsie Block, and Brittney Harder; grandfather, Carl Meilinger; her best friend, Robin Schneider, as well as close uncles, aunts, other relatives and many friends.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents: Bev Meilinger, Gerald and Florence Harder; and uncle, Patrick Meilinger.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Maple Crest Funeral Home, with Pastor Roger Nielsen officiating.  Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waupaca.  In lieu of flowers, memorials will be used towards college funds for her girls.
