Henry F. Zawacki

Of Waupaca, age 89, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Crossroads Care Center of Waupaca.  He was born in Blaine, WI on September 20, 1928 to the late John and Gertrude (Pike) Zawacki.  Henry was a veteran of the Army, serving during the Korean Conflict.  He worked at the Waupaca Foundry and then for the Waupaca Police Department as a Crossing Guard for 15 years.

He will be sadly missed by his daughter: Mitzie (Thomas) Walecki of Waupaca; step-son: Mark (Kari) Kuklinski; grandchildren: Tamara, Thomas Jr. (Jen), James (Hannah), Travis, Amber, Ashley, Jordan, great grandchildren: Bennett, Jaxson, Trinity, Uriah, brother: Harold (Barb) Zawacki, sisters: Dorothy Schultz, Delores (Kenneth) Johnson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, John, and sisters, Katherine Voss, Genevieve Durrant and Cecelia Ehrenberg.

The Graveside Service will be on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery.
