Hedy LaFawn (Barnard) Miller

Hedy went home to be with Jesus on July 23, 2015 at the age of 72.  Hedy was an ordained minister and missionary to the Deaf with the Assemblies of God for more than 51 years.  She pastored churches in Wisconsin and New York as well as served as an adjunct faculty member at North Central University and Central Bible College. She preached and taught at conferences, camps and retreats throughout the United States.  Hedy was known for her extensive knowledge of the Bible and evident anointed prayer life. As an outstanding interpreter for the Deaf, Hedy held current certification with the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf as a generalist and legal interpreter.

A celebration of her life will be held at the First Assembly of God in Waupaca at 1:30 pm on August 1, 2015. Hedy often said, "Flowers should always be given to the living." Monetary gifts will be used to defer end of life expenses and should be written to Rev. Dawn Ruthe.
